CAMBODIA

HIGH FIVE

  1. One item in my bucket list says that before I turn 25 I should treat my family to  an all expense paid trip abroad, that’s why, more than two years ago we went to Cambodia.

  1.  I love the fact that they don’t have a direct flight from Philippines to Siem  Reap. It adds an exotic vibe =) Please don't ruin this for me Cebu Pacific!

  2.  Their airport is the opposite of hi-tech. Its modest, warm and full of character. It is different from all the airports I've seen. It has its own charm which I find appealing.

  3. Almost everything there is cheap, but I strongly suggest that you Splurge on your accommodations. There are no high rise hotels in Cambodia (they don't want structures to tower over their Ankors) What they have are wide, well designed and lovely hotels.

  4. Things to do in Cambodia
    (/) Rent a bike - For $10 you can explore the none tourist spots, and yes it is worth exploring =)
    (/) Visit the Ankors - Two famous Ankors are Ankor Wat and Ankor Thom.
    (/) Watch a cultural show - To know a bit more about their traditions and culture.
    (/) Buy a painting - How can you go wrong with a $10 artwork!

    (/) Befriend a monk - One of them asked me if I would want to adopt a child like
                                         what Angelina Jolie
    did. (Uhm... I'm will to adopt Brad) =)
    (  ) Watch the sunset - No check for this because I was with my Mom! (When you're more
          than 30 years old consider the SUN as your enemy.
    )
